Costume Party, help please?
Hubby & I are going to a costume party at the end of the month. The theme is “Southern Style.” The hosts have given people the following ideas to get everyone started.

I want something cute but not as revealing as daisy duke shorts. I found a costume online that may work but I am not sure.

I would cover the spider on the apron with a gingham pink/white patch. The other spider is just for show. I was thinking that I would do the curly pigtails. What about a pink/white cowboy hat too?
Any other ideas would be appreciated too.

I don’t think it is as revealing as daisy dukes. Maybe b/c most daisy dukes are cut up the booty. I have a petticoat like the one in the pic and it comes to about mid-thigh.
And, I know it is slutty. But, trust me, I will be a very conservative outfit compared to some others there. It is an adult party, there will be no kids there.
I think this is a great idea. And if you simply cover the spider then you can always take that off and wear it as Ms Moffet for a Halloween party sometime. I don’t think this is by ANY means “too slutty”……(still undecided about the peticoat though) Maybe some white fishnets instead of the knee-highs…….
